Good Ol' Mother Nature!

If you have been in the New England area at all since Thanksgiving time, (November of 2010) you probably have noticed the white stuff accumulating along our roadways and taking over every yard and playground available to man and animal kind. It started off with just a small 12 inches... Once the meteorologist declare this as a Nor'easter we were destroyed. Our first real snowstorm, instead of the announced 12 inches became more like 28 inches...

Then a couple days later, good Ol' Mother Nature decided to give us a break from snow, and land a mixture of snow, sleet and ice all over the Tri-state area along with Massachusetts. No power for hours... some even days...

As you can see, power lines were down because the trees (which New England is populated of) could no longer hold the weight of all this weather!

Soon after a couple small snow showers later, we got hit again. Of course told " no more than 9-12 inches..." And from 11pm to 6am, about 18 inches seemed to fall in my back yard. I couldn't fathom taking a photo of the back yard, it is clearly just all white, you couldn't even see any depth anywhere, accumulated up to about 5 feet of snow. I have no back yard, and after this snowstorm I barely have a driveway. Because of my new hatred of snow, I can only take pretty pictures of nature that has been consumed by the precipitation of Mother Nature.
Well, truth be told, New England may only be good for one thing... The summer. I can not wait for the spring, summer or fall. Well scratch the fall because that means winter will once be on its way.

Till next time.... All New Englanders stay "cool" as "cool can be" and all your outsiders... I'm really jealous!
